MOUNT VERNON, WA (January 26, 2022) – Jyst, the new job matching app that connects employers and job seekers through swipe-to-match technology, has launched in the Apple App Store and Google Play and is available for users in Skagit and Whatcom counties. The new app provides an innovative platform for users to browse, match, and connect with potential candidates and job opportunities without the hassle of traditional job hiring and seeking methods.
Describing themselves as “The Anti-Resume Job Matching App™,” Jyst aims to remove barriers that job seekers often face when looking for work. By replacing traditional resumes with a simple app interface that allows job seekers to showcase their skills and interests as well as their experience and education, job seekers no longer have to wade through the intimidating world of resume-building to connect with potential employers.
In addition to removing employment barriers for job seekers, Jyst also simplifies the hiring process for employers. Thanks to Jyst’s mobile job marketplace, employers can efficiently swipe through job seekers who are prescreened by Jyst’s powerful algorithm and determined to be a good fit for the employer’s needs. When both the job seeker and employer swipe right on each other, it’s a match and they can begin messaging right there on the app.
Founded by sisters Meagan and Karli Pickett, and cousin Josh Pickett, Jyst was developed to simplify and streamline the hiring process between employers and job seekers.
“Before Jyst, America’s foundational workers—those working in the service and retail industries—had limited options for discovering new job opportunities,” says Karli Pickett. “Likewise, employers in search of foundational workers lacked a cost-effective, streamlined way to find and connect with potential employees. Now both job seekers and employers have access to a mobile job marketplace where they can connect in the way that makes sense in 2022—on the phone and without a stuffy paper resume.”
Jyst is currently available from Google Play and the Apple App Store throughout Skagit and Whatcom counties and will continue to launch throughout the state in the coming months.
